Cookie Policy
Cookies – what are they?
A ‘cookie’ is a small text file that’s stored on your computer, tablet or phone when you visit a website. A cookie will contain some anonymous information such as a unique identifier, the site name and some digits and numbers. Cookies do lots of different jobs including:
- letting you navigate between pages efficiently;
- remembering your preferences and so allowing us to customize our site according to your individual interests;
- speeding up your searches;
- recognizing you when you return to our site;
- allowing us to estimate our audience size and website usage pattern; and
- generally improving your user experience.
Which cookies are used on this website?
Some cookies are deleted when you close down your browser. These are known as session cookies. Others remain on your device until they expire or you delete them from your cache. These are called persistent cookies and these are what we use to enable us to remember things about you as a returning visitor.
We have listed all the types of cookies we use on this website (according to the ICC UK Cookie guide) below:
- Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are essential in order to enable you to move around the website and use its features, such as accessing secure areas of the website. Without these cookies, services you have asked for cannot be provided. - Performance cookies
These cookies collect information about how visitors use a website, for instance which pages visitors go to most often, and if they get error messages from web pages. These cookies don’t collect information that identifies a visitor. All information these cookies collect is aggregated and therefore anonymous. It is only used to improve how a website works. - Functional cookies
These cookies allow the website to remember choices you make (such as your user name, language or the region you are in) and provide enhanced, more personal features. These cookies can also be used to remember changes you have made to text size, fonts and other parts of web pages that you can customise. They may also be used to provide services you have asked for such as watching a video or commenting on a blog. The information these cookies collect may be anonymised and they cannot track your browsing activity on other websites. - Google Analytics
These cookies are used to collect information about how visitors use our site. We use the information to compile reports and to help us improve the site. The cookies collect information in an anonymous form, including the number of visitors to the site, where visitors have come to the site from and the pages they visited. For further details visit: www.google.com/analytics
What to do if you don’t want cookies to be set
Some people find the idea of a website storing information on their computer or mobile device a bit intrusive. Although this is generally harmless you may not, for example, want to see advertising that has been targeted to your interests. If you prefer, you may reject cookies or even to delete cookies that have already been set by activating the setting on your internet browser which allows you to refuse the setting of cookies; but you need to be aware that you might lose some functions of that website.
To opt out of Google Analytics visit: www.tools.google.com.
Are you happy for us to use cookies?
Some features that are designed to give you a better online experience only work if we use cookies. However, if you would like to change your cookie settings, or find out how to manage or delete them, please visit www.allaboutcookies.org.
Acceptable Use Policy
This acceptable use policy sets out the terms between you and us under which you may access our website www.ultradex.co.uk (“our site”). This acceptable use policy applies to all users of, and visitors to, our site.
Your use of our site means that you accept, and agree to abide by, all the policies in this acceptable use policy and on our site, which supplement our terms of website use.
www.ultradex.co.uk is a site operated by Periproducts Limited (“we” or “us“). We are registered in England and Wales under company number 2864374 and we have our registered office and our main trading address at Venture House, 2 Arlington Square, Bracknell, Berkshire, RG12 1WA, United Kingdom.
You may use our site only for lawful purposes. You may not use our site:
- In any way that breaches any applicable local, national or international law or regulation.
- In any way that is unlawful or fraudulent, or has any unlawful or fraudulent purpose or effect.
- For the purpose of harming or attempting to harm minors in any way.
- To send, knowingly receive, upload, download, use or re-use any material which does not comply with our content standards.
- To transmit, or procure the sending of, any unsolicited or unauthorised advertising or promotional material or any other form of similar solicitation (spam).
- To knowingly transmit any data, send or upload any material that contains viruses, Trojan horses, worms, time-bombs, keystroke loggers, spyware, adware or any other harmful programs or similar computer code designed to adversely affect the operation of any computer software or hardware.
You also agree:
- Not to reproduce, duplicate, copy or re-sell any part of our site in contravention of the provisions of our terms of website use.
- Not to access without authority, interfere with, damage or disrupt:
- any part of our site;
- any equipment or network on which our site is stored;
- any software used in the provision of our site; or
- any equipment or network or software owned or used by any third party.
Interactive services
We may from time to time provide interactive services on our site, including, without limitation:
- Chat rooms.
- Bulletin boards.
(together the “interactive services“).
Where we do provide any interactive service, we will provide clear information to you about the kind of service offered, if it is moderated and what form of moderation is used (including whether it is human or technical).
We will do our best to assess any possible risks for users (and in particular, for children) from third parties when they use any interactive service provided on our site, and we will decide in each case whether it is appropriate to use moderation of the relevant service (including what kind of moderation to use) in the light of those risks. However, we are under no obligation to oversee, monitor or moderate any interactive service we provide on our site, and we expressly exclude our liability for any loss or damage arising from the use of any interactive service by a user in contravention of our content standards, whether the service is moderated or not.
The use of any of our interactive services by a minor is subject to the consent of their parent or guardian. We advise parents who permit their children to use an interactive service that it is important that they communicate with their children about their safety online, as moderation is not foolproof. Minors who are using any interactive service should be made aware of the potential risks to them.
Where we do moderate an interactive service, we will provide you with a means of contacting the moderator, should a concern or difficulty arise.

These content standards apply to any and all material which you contribute to our site (the “contributions“), and to any interactive services associated with it.
